A Yes, headgear is required for this item. However, if your mask frame and cushion have worn out but your headgear is still functioning properly, you can purchase the assembly kit HERE. Â

A Over time, your CPAP headgear and chin straps may become stretched and lose their elasticity, leading to over-tightening and discomfort. They can also trap bacteria from sweat and moisture. Due to this, it is recommended that you replace your headgear once every 6 months, minimum
