Q: How long can I run the Medela Pump In Style® Electric Breast Pump on batteries for?
A: According to research and calculations, the batteries should last for up to 2 hours before needing to be recharged or replaced. 8x AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries are needed to use this breast pump without a power outlet.
Q: What is the voltage of the Medela Pump In Style® pump?
A: The voltage of this breast pump is 100-240V dual voltage which means that it is good to use in the US and internationally should you need to travel abroad.
Q: Is it possible to use my original PersonalFit™ Connectors from my Pump in Style® Advanced Breast Pump with the Pump In Style® Breast Pump with MaxFlow™?
A: Unfortunately no. Even though it may seem like the original PersonalFit™ connectors may fit, they are not compatible and may cause damage to your new breast pump if used.
Q: Why won’t my PersonalFit™ (clear) connectors that I received with my Symphony® kit not fit the tubing on the Pump In Style® with MaxFlow™?
A: The Pump In Style® Breast Pump with MaxFlow™ has specialized, unique parts and was designed to be a closed system. Only PersonalFit Flex™ Connectors are compatible with this pump. If you attempt to use your original PersonalFit™ Connectors, this will cause milk to be backed up into the tubing and may result in irreversible damage to your pump.
Q: At which level does the Expression Phase begin with the Pump In Style®?
A: By default, the vacuum level/setting that you ended your Stimulation Phase on will gradually ramp up to that level within 3 cycles.
Q: My Pump In Style® Breast Pump seems to not have any suction?
A: We have included a video showing how to troubleshoot your Pump In Style® Breast Pump that is experiencing either low or no suction issues for your convenience.
